Dr. Shabaz Qureshi | Advanced Interventional Gastroenterologist
Dr. Shabaz Qureshi has been an Advanced Interventional Gastroenterologist at Reddy GI Associates, joining the practice in January 2017. He graduated from Nishtar Medical College, Pakistan in 1990 before starting an Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the Prestigious University Of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey.
Dr. Qureshi has a very varied background and has lived in multiple countries and experienced different Cultures including Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan as well as Dubai, as his father was a Diplomat in the Foreign Service.
He has worked in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan as well as Alabama and Arizona. He completed his Interventional Advanced Gastroenterology Fellowship from the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City. Dr. Qureshi has special expertise and training in the treatment of Liver, Pancreas, and Bile Duct Disorders.
He is also an Associate Program Director for The Gastroenterology Fellowship at the Midwestern University/Mountain Vista Medical Center, where he trains the Gastroenterology Fellows to become competent Gastroenterologists. He is also a consultant to The Arizona Medical Board for Peer Review of Cases.
Dr. Qureshi has been in clinical practice since 2002. His philosophy is to simply treat every patient as a family member and be accountable to them at all times!
